We are one of the world's largest manufacturers of needles and syringes. We are vertically integrated with locations across the globe. Our innovative technology helps reduce unnecessary injuries, saves on medication and enhances both clinician and patient experience. Our international sales team is dedicated to delivering knowledge and outstanding customer service. Our goal is to partner with those in healthcare, focusing on a healthier tomorrow.

In 2025, a new page is written for Sol-Millennium, with the launch of InsuJet™ in several countries and a strong desire to invest in diabetes and provide patients with innovative solutions that respond to specific problems.

This ambition is accompanied by a double commitment: to continue our development efforts and to identify other relevant innovations in the field of diabetes.

We believe that innovation is only valuable if it is understood, adopted, and experienced positively by the patient. This is why we design our systems around user experience, support, and dialogue with healthcare professionals.

InsuJet™, the result of many years of development

InsuJet™ was developed by NuGen MD, a Canadian company pioneering the development of needle-free medical technologies.

Over the past ten years, the device has undergone numerous iterations and technical developments. The current model addresses the limitations of previous versions (weight reduction, improved dose readability, etc.), providing a simpler user experience and significantly improved administration comfort.

Although InsuJet™ is now a fully developed and operational device, we are actively continuing to improve it. With this in mind, our R&D team, based in Switzerland, is currently working on new versions of InsuJet™ better adapted to the specific needs of children and athletes.

At both Sol Millennium and NuGen MD, we believe there is no one-size-fits-all solution. That's why we value user feedback so we can continually evolve InsuJet™ to better meet the diverse needs, profiles, and care pathways.

Sol-Millennium enters the North American and Brazilian markets with SolCare™ brand safety syringes through the acquisition of Inviro Medical Inc. and Medica Brazil. The company also establishes an EMEA office in Poland, serving Europe and the Middle East.

Accelerate innovation

Sol-Millennium rolls out Sol-Care™ safety needles and unveils a unique vacuum-retractable safety blood collection device. At the same time, the company is strengthening its presence in Europe by establishing an R&D center in Switzerland, bringing together recognized industry experts.

Response to COVID-19

To better support its global customers, SolMillennium relocated its headquarters to Chicago. A year later, the company became a key player in the fight against COVID-19 amid global shortages. In 2021, SolMillennium supplied more than two billion syringes and needles for global COVID-19 vaccination programs.

A promising future

Sol-Millennium signs its first GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) agreement - Premier - consolidating its presence in the American market. The Sol-Guard® Safety Pull Button Blood Collection Set is recognized with two prestigious international industrial design awards for its product excellence and safety innovation: the Red Dot and iF Design Awards.

2022

<p>Investment in NuGen</p>

Investment in NuGen

The Sol-Millennium Medical Group invested in NuGen Medical Devices in September 2024 and became the official distributor of InsuJet™ in numerous countries. This milestone marks the beginning of a strong commitment to the diabetes field. The collaboration with NuGen is becoming closer, and the CEO of SolM also becomes the CEO of NuGen.
